Gas Leaf Blower Ban Informational Meeting

The City of Alexandria is going electic! Gas-Powered Leaf blowers are banned starting November 17, 2026. The City has made the transition and the City wide ban is happening across Alexandria. The ban will affect residents, business owners, property owners, landscapers, and everyone within city limits. Join us Tuesday, July 21, from 7 to 8 p.m., in person at Charles Houston Recreation Center or virtually to learn more about the ban, what to do with gas-powered leaf blowers, how to dispose of them properly and alternatives such as electric leaf blowers.
