Make a Bee Habitat

Join us for a fun and educational day focused on pollinator conservation with two exciting events! First, participate in "Make a Bee Habitat," a creative craft activity where children, accompanied by an adult, can construct homes for bees using everyday household items. This event is presented in partnership with the Great Southeast Pollinator Census and is free for everyone.

Following this, engage in the "Great Southeast Pollinator Census," a citizen science project led by the University of Georgia. Help count pollinators in the Gardens alongside participants from across the Southeast while learning about different species, their significance in food production, and how your observations contribute to meaningful research. This event is also free, but please register in advance to ensure we have enough participants. Come get involved, learn something new, and help protect the pollinators we all depend on!
