Join archaeogeneticist Dr. Danielle Airola from the University of Montana for the engaging virtual event, "Digging Up the Past." Designed for children ages 12 and under, this program invites young participants to explore the fascinating world of archaeology, including dinosaur bones, DNA, and incredible fossils. Dr. Airola will share insights about what it’s like to be an archaeologist and how DNA reveals the stories of our ancestors. A viewing session will also be available at the library. Registration is required to join the event, which promises to be an exciting opportunity for young minds. Additionally, a more in-depth program for teens and adults will be held on July 22.
