Southwest Arts Center

915 New Hope Rd SW, Atlanta, GA 30331, USA

The Southwest Arts Center, operated by the City of South Fulton's Department of Cultural Affairs, is a dedicated facility for delivering arts to the community. Since its opening in 2001, it has aimed to produce and present quality arts education, cultural activities, and events in a welcoming and safe environment. The center offers a wide range of classes for all ages, including toddlers, youth, teens, adults, and seniors, covering visual arts, technology, textiles, dance, theatre, music, and literary arts. These sessions culminate in recitals, and the center also provides a Summer Youth Arts Camp and a Summer Teen Arts Intensive. The facility includes a Performance Theater, which hosts staged performances, art exhibitions, and theatrical partnerships, as well as a Fine Art Gallery featuring twelve exhibitions annually. The Department of Cultural Affairs' mission is to celebrate the community's rich history, creativity, and diverse voices through public art, cultural programs, and collaborations, fostering the creative spirit across the Southwest Arts Center and Wolf Creek Amphitheatre.
