Details:
Effective leadership requires the ability to connect with individuals across a wide range of generational experiences. This workshop explores how generational perspectives influence the way we communicate, collaborate, and lead in higher education. Rather than relying on stereotypes, participants will examine the underlying values, expectations, and experiences that shape professional interactions.
Through engaging discussion and practical application, attendees will develop a generational lens to better understand colleagues, students, and campus partners. Participants will leave with strategies to foster stronger relationships, enhance collaboration, and create a more inclusive and effective campus environment.
Presenter: Gus Nascimento, Assistant Director, Enrollment Management and Student Engagement, School of Architecture; OPC Administrative Fellow
