The Yeadon Public Library serves as a cultural and information resource for its community, dedicated to managing and preserving its historical legacy. Its mission is to promote reading, lifelong learning, and the free expression of ideas through its materials, technology, and services. The library offers a range of amenities including public access computers, Wi-Fi, printing, scanning, and faxing services. Additionally, patrons can borrow Chromebooks and museum passes, and access a digital collection of e-books, audiobooks, and e-magazines through Delaware County Libraries. The library also provides meeting rooms for community organizations and hosts various programs for infants, children, teens, and adults, including computer training, story times, and special events. Founded in October 1937 by the Women's Club of Yeadon, the library has grown significantly and moved to its current location in 1967, continuing to serve the needs of Yeadon Borough residents with a collection of approximately 50,000 items.
