The Urbandale Public Library is a public library serving Urbandale, Iowa, and the surrounding Des Moines metro area. Its mission is to provide diverse resources for lifelong learning and enjoyment. The library offers a wide range of print and non-print materials, as well as access to computers, photocopiers, meeting rooms, and study areas. It hosts extensive programming for all ages, including children, teens, and adults. Additionally, the library provides special services such as curbside pickup, home delivery for patrons unable to visit, notary public services, and test proctoring. Various equipment, including computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and mobile hotspots, is available for use. The library is governed by a seven-member Board of Trustees and supported by the Urbandale Public Library Foundation, which handles donations to further its growth.
