The Bunker SLO is a vibrant creative sanctuary that first captured my heart when I stepped inside its enchanting walls, originally built by Mr. Dixon in the 1940s for agricultural plumbing. Having transformed from a warehouse to an artistic haven, it became my escape, allowing me to reconnect with my passion for art. Alongside fellow creators like Irene Flores and Jeff Sauer, we nurtured a community of diverse artists. Now, with the launch of V2, The Bunker is revitalized with coffee, art shows, and expanded events for all ages, continuing to serve as a welcoming space for creativity and connection.
