As a Reform congregation, and a member of the Union for Reform Judaism, Temple Beth El is devoted to the ideal of freedom to creatively celebrate our beliefs and explore our heritage, while maintaining our Jewish values, ethics, and traditions. Temple Beth El of Hollywood is not like any other temple in town. We're a small congregation in the heart of East Hollywood with a true neighborhood feel. When you walk through the doors at Temple Beth El of Hollywood you immediately get a warm sensation like you’ve finally found your home away from home. Although the synagogue is progressive, it still brings back memories of the first time you heard the Torah chanted or tasted the sweet challah bread. Kids laugh here, Music gets played, friendships are made, dogs bark (yes, many of our programs are canine-friendly!) and, all the grown-ups are friends. Rabbi Aaron Sataloff and Cantor Manny Silver are a dynamic duo, and totally approachable. Temple Beth El of Hollywood is a house of worship, but it’s also our home. We welcome you to join us.
