Telfair Museums is comprised of three distinct sites: the Telfair Academy, the Owens-Thomas House & Slave Quarters, and the Jepson Center for the Arts. It is the oldest public art museum in the South, with a permanent collection spanning the 18th through 21st centuries. The museums offer a journey through art, history, and architecture, featuring both historical and contemporary art, educational programs, and community outreach initiatives. Their mission is to offer compelling expressions of visual culture and develop awareness, understanding, and appreciation of the arts.
