Pinecrest Amphitheater

The Pinecrest Amphitheater, located at Pinecrest Lake in California's Stanislaus National Forest, is an outdoor venue that hosts "Movies Under the Stars" during the summer months, typically from Memorial Day through Labor Day, and sometimes into September. Operated by Dodge Ridge Corporation, the amphitheater is open to the public, serving as the only movie theater in the Pinecrest area. In addition to movie showings, it may also host ranger programs. Concessions such as popcorn, drinks, and candy are available for purchase. The amphitheater is situated within a campground and is accessible to all ages, with tickets usually priced around $7.50-$10.00, and children under a certain age admitted for free. Attendees are advised to bring blankets or jackets as evenings can be cool.
