The Penn Wynne Library, a branch of the Lower Merion Library System, serves approximately 13,500 residents in Wynnewood, Montgomery County. Established in 1929, it is housed in a 7,751-square-foot building and is a key part of a nationally ranked library system. The library maintains a collection of 51,000 volumes, circulating over 125,300 items annually to more than 4,000 active patrons. Its facilities include meeting spaces, public computers, and internet services. A dedicated children's room offers numerous programs for young visitors. As part of the Lower Merion Library System, Penn Wynne Library provides access to a wide variety of books, audio-visual materials, and electronic resources, supporting the informational, educational, recreational, and cultural needs of individuals of all ages. Patrons can also access resources through the MCLINC network and the Access Pennsylvania program, as well as digital services like Overdrive, Kanopy, and Hoopla.
