The National Ranching Heritage Center is a captivating museum and a sprawling 19-acre historical park at Texas Tech University. Visitors can explore a 1.5-mile paved pathway showcasing over 50 authentic ranch structures from iconic West Texas ranches, illustrating the evolution of ranch life from the late 1700s to the mid-1900s. Each building, meticulously restored and furnished, highlights unique architectural styles and materials. Open Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., it offers a fascinating glimpse into America's ranching history.
