The Latino Center of Art and Culture (LCAC) is a multi-disciplinary cultural center and public space in Sacramento, California, founded in 1972. It serves the community by offering Latinx programming, art education workshops, and acting as a community gathering place. LCAC aims to be a center for cultural pride, self-governance, self-expression, and community empowerment through the arts. The organization advocates for marginalized individuals and presents underrepresented voices from the Latino diaspora, creating and exhibiting work that reflects cultural heritage and challenges contemporary artists. LCAC serves over 12,000 people annually and employs over 50 artists each year.
