Lake Metroparks Farmpark is a 235-acre working farm and education center located in Kirtland, Ohio, established in 1990. Its mission is to connect visitors with agricultural roots and foster an understanding of where food and clothing originate. The farm features a variety of animals including dairy cows, pigs, sheep, chickens, rabbits, horses, alpacas, and goats. Visitors can explore a plant science center, view farm machinery exhibits, and enjoy playground facilities. Accessible horse- or tractor-drawn wagons provide transportation throughout the park. Daily activities include demonstrations and educational programs focused on farming and gardening, alongside special monthly events such as Maple Sugaring Weekends, HorseFest, and the Fall Harvest Weekends. Farmpark is recognized as an award-winning educational site, drawing over 100,000 students annually from area schools.
