Mission: To nurture a compassionate society where pets are supported in their homes and on their journey to find a home Hearts Alive Village is centrally located in the heart of Las Vegas, Nevada, and was founded in 2013 because of an intense need to help save dogs and cats that were losing their lives in an overcrowded shelter system. We learned early that our priority for building resources should target preventing animals from entering the shelter in the first place. We offer several supportive services to families such as a pet food and supplies bank, rehoming for pet owners who have passed away or are unable to continue to care for their pets, training resources, temporary boarding for those experiencing a housing crisis or hospital stay, and low cost spay/neuter. Our most recent resource is an affordable veterinary clinic for families struggling to access care with payment options that fit their budgets for those who cannot qualify for conventional credit. Keeping families together is our goal!
