Our vision is a community where single parents with multiple children and the families of deployed soldiers can attend all-inclusive camps that focus on family cohesion and enrichment, with the belief that vacations spent with families strengthen bonds and build memories that last a lifetime. At the present G.A.C.T. (Great Adventure Camping Trip) is in its 13th year. This year, the GACT will be using the Kinsey Scout Reservation (KSR) in Stonewall, LA, featuring a weekend of fun in the sun. The camp is not only FUN but meant to serve as support for single parents and offers counseling and skills for family enrichment and cohesion. Too often, families avoid vacations because of monetary restrictions, which is why we offer our camp at NO COST! Over the years, the camp has been able to reach more families. With your help, we can make this grow into camps that are offered multiple times a year.
