The Frank Sarris Public Library (FSPL) serves the Borough of Canonsburg, North Strabane Township, and Cecil Township, as well as the nine schools within the Canon-McMillan School District. As a member of the WAGGIN library system, FSPL provides access to a wide array of materials including books, DVDs, audiobooks, magazines, museum passes, and more, available to all with a WAGGIN library card. The library also offers interlibrary loan services for items outside the WAGGIN system. Essential services include public computers with free Wi-Fi, printing, faxing, copying, and scanning. FSPL maintains a historical collection featuring local history books and microfilm of area newspapers. The library's mission is to elevate its communities by inspiring a love of reading, discovery, and connection, envisioning itself as a welcoming, safe, culturally diverse, and inclusive learning environment. It offers diverse programs for all ages, including children's story times, adult book clubs, educational workshops, and summer reading camps. FSPL is more than just a place for books; it functions as a community center with an art gallery, genealogy room, meeting spaces, and hosts various community activities.
