The East County Regional Library is a branch of the Lee County Library System, serving Lehigh Acres and surrounding eastern Lee County. Established in 1962 as the Lehigh Acres Public Library and renamed in 2001, it is a 32,000-square-foot facility that offers a vast collection of books, magazines, CDs, and DVDs, alongside public computers with internet access, Wi-Fi, and printing/scanning services. The library provides various programs for all ages, including storytimes, book discussions, and language learning opportunities. It also offers meeting and study rooms for public use. As part of the Lee County Library System, its mission is to strengthen the community by informing and enriching individuals.
