The Brandywine Battlefield Park Associates (BBPA) is a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to preserving, interpreting, and sharing the enduring story of the Battle of the Brandywine, the largest and longest single-day land battle of the American Revolution. They fulfill this mission through educational programs, historical exhibits, guided tours, special events, and living history reenactments. The BBPA works in collaboration with the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission (PHMC) to manage and operate the Brandywine Battlefield Park, a National Historic Landmark. Their educational initiatives aim to broaden public understanding of the battle's significance within the broader context of the American Revolution, including its social, political, economic, and military aspects. The organization also focuses on the impact of the battle on the local community, particularly the Quaker population. Through onsite and online programs, as well as community outreach, the BBPA brings the events of the 18th century to life for visitors of all ages.
