The Andover Public Library aims to bring people, ideas, and information together in a publicly supported space to build community, inspire imagination, and promote a lifelong love of learning. They offer a wide range of services including physical and virtual experiences, with items available for checkout such as books, DVDs, audiobooks, ebooks, magazines, board games, museum passes, activity bags, American Girl Dolls, and even disc golf discs and telescopes. The library also provides children's story times, book clubs, homebound services, summer reading programs, Lego and Comic clubs, a public computer lab with free wi-fi, room rentals, passport acceptance services, and volunteer opportunities. They are supported by the Friends of the Andover Public Library, a group that fundraises and develops activities to enhance library programs.
