Details:
The Courage to Expand is a breath‑centered practice inspired by the spaciousness of summer. This class focuses on the natural expansion that happens inside the body and spirit when the breath is given room to move. Rather than striving for “more,” we explore the quiet, steady widening that comes from simply breathing with presence.
Through gentle pranayama, somatic awareness, and mindful pacing, you’ll learn to feel the breath as a warm, supportive force — one that softens the edges of the mind and opens the inner landscape. Summer’s energy reminds us that expansion can be effortless: the way light fills a room, the way warmth loosens the body, the way nature opens without force.
This session invites you to experience that same ease within yourself. Each inhale becomes a moment of soft opening; each exhale, a settling into your own inner ground. The focus is on spaciousness, clarity, and the quiet courage that arises when the inner spirit is allowed to breathe freely.

In this session, Hannah will guide you through a series of intentional breathing techniques, rhythmic patterns, and breath holds designed to open the body and expand consciousness. This style of breathwork supports physical, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual well‑being by directly influencing the nervous system and the body’s internal rhythms.
As you learn to work with your breath and create spaciousness within the lungs, you cultivate a holistic mind‑body‑spirit harmony. Many participants experience reduced stress, anxiety, PTSD symptoms, depression, grief, chronic pain, and anger. Breathwork can also enhance energy, focus, mental clarity, athletic performance, and your sense of connection—to yourself, to others, and to the earth.

We will begin with a warm cup of ceremonial Egyptian Blue Lotus tea. For more than 3,000 years, Blue Lotus was revered by ancient Egyptian priesthood for its medicinal qualities and its role as a sacred spiritual plant. Its gentle, consciousness‑expanding properties are often described as having a “divine” essence, inviting feelings of tranquility, openness, and subtle euphoria.
