**Summer Playground 2026 Overview**

Registration is now open for the Summer Playground 2026 program, offered by Wrentham Recreation for over 30 years. The program, held at the Rice Complex on Emerald Street, utilizes the D'Amico Playground, basketball and pickleball courts, volleyball courts, and ample field space for various games and activities. Each Wednesday, children will be bussed to Sweatt Beach for an afternoon of fun, with parents picking them up at the beach at 3 PM.

The Summer Playground is available for children in Kindergarten through Grade 8 (as of September 2026) from Wrentham, Norfolk, Plainville, and surrounding towns, with registration options for full days, half days, or daily attendance.

- **Location:** Rice Complex, Emerald Street
- **Dates:** June 29 - August 14
- **Schedule:**
- Full Day: Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 3 PM
- Half Day: Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 12 PM
- **Ages:** Kindergarten through Grade 8 (as of August 31, 2026)
- **Costs:**
- Full Day: $190/week (Wrentham residents), $205/week (non-residents), $50 deposit required
- Half Day: $110/week (Wrentham residents), $125/week (non-residents), $35 deposit required
- Daily attendance: $50 (Wrentham residents), $55 (non-residents), $50 deposit required

Children must register online by 8 AM on any day they wish to attend. Activities include games, sports, arts and crafts, and more. In case of rain, children will be taken to the Roderick School library or temporarily housed in the Recreation building until conditions are safe outdoors.
