**Summer Playground 2026 Description**

Registration is now open for the Summer Playground 2026 program, offered by Wrentham Recreation for over 30 years. The program has been held at the Rice Complex since 2021, featuring the D'Amico Playground, basketball courts, pickleball courts, volleyball courts, and ample field space for various games. Participants will enjoy a special trip to Sweatt Beach every Wednesday after lunch, with bus transportation provided for pickup at 3 PM.

The program is available to children entering Kindergarten through Grade 8 as of September 2026, from Wrentham, Norfolk, Plainville, and surrounding areas. Parents can register their children for full days (9 AM-3 PM), half days (9 AM-12 PM), or daily attendance options.

- **Location:** Rice Complex, Emerald Street
- **Dates:** June 29 - August 14
- **Cost:**
- Full day: $190/week for Wrentham residents, $205/week for non-residents (with a $50 deposit required)
- Half day: $110/week for Wrentham residents, $125/week for non-residents (with a $35 deposit required)
- Daily: $50 for Wrentham residents, $55 for non-residents (with a $50 deposit required)

Activities will include games, sports, arts and crafts, water games, and quiet activities. In case of rain, children's safety is prioritized with arrangements for indoor activities at the Wrentham Elementary Schools. Families will be notified by email and through the website if children need to stay indoors all day due to weather.
