Library Board of Trustees

The Woodland Public Library Board of Trustees is the governing body responsible for overseeing the Woodland Public Library. It exists under California State Education Code and municipal ordinance, and consists of five members appointed by the Mayor with the consent of the Woodland City Council. wo Mission Purpose The Board acts as the governing authority of the library and represents both the community and the institution. Its core duties include: Setting overall policy, goals, and objectives for the library. Adopting written policies related to fiscal matters, operations, and personnel. Ensuring the library provides relevant, quality services to the community. Acting as advocates for the library at both the local and state level
