Mahjong: Learn how to play!

Description: Ever wanted to learn Mahjong (American version) but felt intimidated by the tiles and rules? This beginner-friendly, three-week introduction breaks it all down step by step in a fun and approachable way. We’ll start with the basics, move into rules and strategy, and wrap up with practice games so you can feel confident playing on your own. Temporary Mahjong cards will be provided, and participants are encouraged to purchase a 2026 Mahjong card if they’d like to continue playing beyond class. If interest continues, we may offer a follow-up session later in the summer. Come learn, play, and connect—one tile at a time.
