Details:
This month the Reading in the Hall Book Group will read and discuss Where the Rivers Merge by Mary Alice Monroe.
The Lowcountry of South Carolina is on the cusp of change. Mayfield, the Rivers family's grand estate, is the home of young Eliza. Free spirited, she refuses to be confined by societal norms. As Eliza battles personal and family turmoil, her love for the natural world puts her on a collision course with the patriarchal traditions of a bygone era. (Adapted from OSL Catalog)
Free and open to the public. Space is limited so registration is required. To register click the button below or contact the library for assistance. Copies of the book will be available to pick up at the William Hall Circulation Desk.
