Jazz Showcase

Join us for a remarkable evening at the Jazz Showcase, hosted by Dr. Bill Bares, a distinguished pianist, composer, scholar, and educator. With a Ph.D in ethnomusicology from Harvard University, Dr. Bares has taught at prestigious institutions including Harvard and Berklee College of Music, and currently serves as a professor of music and co-director of jazz studies at UNC Asheville. This event will feature the Composers Room Trio, highlighting Dr. Bares' expertise and passion for jazz. The showcase is partially supported by the North Carolina Arts Council, with funding from the National Endowment for the Arts.
