Join historians and AI experts to explore how modern AI tools can impact the learning, research, and practice of history. The AI & History Symposium will bring together historians, AI experts, and scholars from related fields to examine how emerging technologies — including chatbots and generative AI tools — are shaping historical research, pedagogy, interpretation, and professional practice. The event will be held at: Keough School Washington Office 1400 16th St NW, Suite 120 Washington, DC 20036. The symposium will feature presentations and panel discussions from leading faculty, invited guests from the University of Notre Dame, representatives from organizations of U. S. historians, and scholars from related disciplines. A reception will follow the event. This symposium is organized by the University of Notre Dame’s Lucy Family Institute for Data & Society and Keough School of Global Affairs in partnership with the Kellogg Institute for International Studies.
