Details:
Join Rev. Christie Hardwick for an interactive workshop and readings from her newly released book, The Absence of Light: Radical Accountability and a Way Forward.
In a time of deep division and uncertainty, how are we being called to respond—and what part have we each played in the world we hope to heal?
With honesty, courage, and compassion, Christie reflects on the limits of her own care, learning, and action, revealing how radical accountability can lead not to shame or blame, but to healing, clarity, and a more empowered way forward.
Come share in Christie’s journey and reflect on your own through readings, conversation, and guided exploration.
During the workshop, expect to have feelings that will be followed by discernment, and that discernment can lead to right contemplation and inspired action.

A reader recently wrote:
This book is a brave inventory in service to us all... the honest accountability of it... the humanness of it... the invitation to witness her... and you... and us all. This book is the opposite of fear and scarcity and invites us into community with (all of) each other at a time where many feel powerless and alone. The end of the book makes liberatory space for abundance and joy and an actionable path forward. (KK Kendrick)
