Details:
This is not a drill! Pedro the Lion returns to Champaign for a rare and unforgettable full-band performance. Their first in C-U in around 20 years. Led by acclaimed songwriter David Bazan, Pedro the Lion has long been celebrated for emotionally raw songwriting, deeply human storytelling, and a sound that helped shape the indie and emo landscape of the late ’90s and early 2000s. From cult-classic albums like Control and It’s Hard to Find a Friend to their recent critically acclaimed releases, Pedro the Lion’s music continues to resonate across generations of listeners.
Join us on July 18th for a powerful night of live music, community, drinks from the Stray Hound, and local makers as the Taylor Street Block Party brings one of indie rock’s most beloved bands to Downtown Champaign. Visit area restaurants and shops between bands and enjoy all of the joy Downtown Champaign has to offer.
