Learn how to create parametric designs using cloud based software Onshape. This hands-on workshop introduces participants to the fundamentals of 3D design using Onshape, a cloud-based CAD software. Whether you're an aspiring engineer, designer, or hobbyist, this session provides the tools and knowledge to start creating your own 3D models. What You’ll Learn: Getting Started: Overview of Onshape's interface, navigation tools, and cloud-based collaboration features. Core Design Principles: Understanding 3D modeling basics, including sketches, extrusions, and revolutions. Hands-On Practice: Creating simple 3D parts, assembling components, and exploring design modifications. Best Practices: Tips for efficient modeling, managing design iterations, and exporting models for 3D printing or other applications. This program is ideal for beginners with no prior experience in CAD software, as well as those looking to explore Onshape's capabilities. Registration will start 2 weeks before this class. Computers will be provided.
