Stories, music, movement, and play in a neurodiversity-affirming setting for children of any age and their caregivers. This event is intended to support children and families who may have challenges accessing other library services and storytime programs. Please register in advance - it helps us to know who all is planning on coming, and allows us to contact you with reminders and important updates. This event takes place at the Hands on Children's Museum . The address is: 414 Jefferson St NE, Olympia, WA 98501. We meet in Snug Harbor, a classroom located on the second floor of the museum, reachable by stairs or elevator. Thanks to the generosity of Hands on Children's Museum, families can attend Sensory-inclusive Storytime and while there, experience the rest of the museum's attractions free of charge! When you arrive, check in at the ticket counter and let them know you are there for sensory storytime, and they will direct you to the room. And though membership is not required to attend these storytimes, we encourage you to explore their membership options , so that you can enjoy the museum anytime! Schedule: 3:30-3:40 PM: Arrive, open play and social time 3:40-4:10 PM: Storytime 4:15-4:45 PM: Guided art and play activities, social time, and library assistance* To inquire about accessibility or accommodations at any of these programs, please contact Freddy at the Olympia library (fvineberg@TRL.org or 360-352-0595) . *Limited library services will be available after storytime .
