Join us for **Toddler Takeover**, a celebration of hands-on exploration designed for children five and younger! These special playtimes focus on your little one's development through play, featuring a different play schema each month—key behaviors that help kids make sense of the world—paired with engaging activities in our party room and relevant exhibits. Caregivers can dive into the science of play with insights from our museum educators, enjoy guided sensory activities, and discover simple ways to extend the fun at home. Toddler Takeover is proudly sponsored by Stride Autism Centers.
Special **Member Hours** are available from 9 to 10 a.m. on select dates for members of The Iowa Children’s Museum, offering a quieter environment for early play. Following these exclusive hours, we open to the public at 10:00 a.m. and invite all little learners to join in the fun!
