Live Theatre Auditions: Into The Woods

Join us for live theatre auditions for the beloved musical "Into the Woods," directed by Stephanie Bradshaw with music direction by Sky Kust. Auditions will take place on Tuesday, July 7 at 6:00 PM and Sunday, July 12 at 6:30 PM on the Stanley Subaru Stage, with performances scheduled for October 9-11, 15-18, and 23-25. Sponsored by First National Bank, we are casting adults and teens ages 15 and up.

Auditionees are asked to prepare 16-32 bars of a classic musical theater song and bring sheet music or a recorded karaoke track, clearly marked for the accompanist—acapella singing is not allowed. Be ready to discuss any rehearsal or performance conflicts, and you may be asked to sing or read from the script. The Grand Theatre aims to foster community inclusion and offer opportunities for all artists, patrons, and volunteers.

"Into the Woods," by James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim, weaves together the stories of a Baker and his wife, Cinderella, and Jack, who each wish for something more. Their journey to fulfill their desires leads to surprising consequences, making it a unique exploration of life's complexities.

Roles available include:
- Narrator, Gender: Male
- Cinderella, Gender: Female
- Jack, Gender: Male
- The Baker, Gender: Male
- The Baker's Wife, Gender: Female
- And various other beloved characters, including the Witch, Rapunzel, and princes.
