Queering the Clark's Collection

Join us for "Queering the Clark's Collection," a guided tour led by a Clark educator in celebration of Pride Month. This exploration of the permanent collection invites participants to examine art through a queer lens, engaging with thought-provoking questions such as “What makes an artwork queer?” and “How does our understanding of queerness today influence our perceptions of the identities and lives of past artists?” Featured artwork includes Winslow Homer's "Two Guides" (detail), 1877, oil on canvas.
