Joyful Morning Celebration: An Early Childhood Bayou Experience

This enchanting event created for children ages 5 and under and their families will have you exploring the adventures of the bayou and creating New Orleans inspired vibrant art and music. Families will be able to freely explore the exhibit and participate in special activities offered only during this special event. Bayou Basin Bin Discover and learn about the animals that live in the Bayou while playing with a sensory bin filled with sand, water, plants, and pretend play animals Apron Creations Design your own apron to take home along with a New Orleans inspired recipe card. Be a Parade Musician Become a member of the community band and try out playing different instruments. Mask Masterpieces Decorate and take home your own New Orleans themed parade mask using a variety of art materials.
