Join Larry for the "Tai Chi - 24 Form" class, designed for both beginners and continuing students. This enjoyable course teaches the 24 movements of the popular Chinese Government-approved Yang style "Simplified Form." Participants will learn to enhance the flow of Chi (energy) while exploring Tai Chi philosophy, history, and mindfulness through a series of movements that are slow, continuous, relaxed, and focused. Combining "moving meditation" with gentle, revitalizing exercise, students will improve their strength, conditioning, coordination, flexibility, and balance. Many participants report benefits such as increased energy, reduced stress and pain, enhanced sleep, and an overall sense of well-being. Classes are offered at a fee of $8 for basic members and $15 for non-members.
