Please plan to arrive in Managua on December 26 and check into the airport hotel. On the morning of December 27, we'll take the 3.5-hour van ride to beautiful Coco Loco. After some free time to settle in, we'll share a meal and set intentions.
With the beach, the yoga shala, and the pool no more than a two-minute walk away, each day will be a perfect balance of you-time and group-time. There will be opportunities for surfing, yoga, swimming, relaxing in a hammock or lounger, reading, taking a workshop or class, reflecting, enjoying alone time, and community time at various points throughout the day. We will eat delicious meals together at Coco Loco's beautiful outdoor restaurant by the pool, listening to the sounds of ocean waves.
The first surf lessons will occur on Monday, December 28, followed by two days of group free surf time with casual instruction and support. The surf lessons are for ALL AGES. The second surf lesson will happen on Wednesday, January 30, when you'll have time to put teachings from the first lesson into action. Additional private or small group surf lessons are available with the staff and can be arranged, if requested, for a fee
At least three yoga/movement/breath/philosophy sessions are offered daily. Most of the day is spent surfing, relaxing, and eating delicious, clean, and healthy hand-prepared meals. Whether you’re an early riser or a night owl, you can join in on activities that fit your schedule at your pace.
Coco Loco's weather is sunny in January, with highs in the upper 80s and nightly lows around 70 degrees. Lower humidity during the dry season allows for fantastic stargazing, and bioluminescence can sometimes be seen in the sea on darker nights.
Due to the changing nature of tides and surf conditions, we'll keep the daily schedule fluid, but each day will be filled with yoga, breathwork, meditation, play/crafts and surfing in paradise.
On January 1, you'll return to Managua and the airport hotel to fly out on January 2.

About Coco Loco Eco Resort
Coco Loco Eco Resort was started by three friends backpacking through Central America, enjoying a simpler life on the beaches of Nicaragua. They weren’t just looking to build a business—they wanted to live responsibly, stay rooted in the community, and give back in a meaningful way. That mindset shaped everything, from eco-conscious practices to a deep connection with the local village. You can feel it in the vibe today—whether you're here for surf, yoga, a retreat, or to just chill, Coco Loco is all about good energy, good people, and doing things with heart.
