Gary Harrison Music CMA award winning songwriter Gary Harrison came to Nashville from his native Memphis in 1973 to attend college with a vague notion of somehow being involved in the music industry here. In 1976 he secured his first songwriting deal and had his first songs recorded by Barbara Mandrell, Ronnie Milsap and Charley Pride. In 1978, the Dean Dillon co-written "Lying in Love With You" [Jim Ed Brown and Helen Cornelius] went to Number 1 on the singles chart. It was the first hit for either songwriter. Since then over 300 of his songs have been recorded. He has enjoyed hits by such artists as George Strait, Trisha Yearwood, Martina McBride,BJ Thomas,Mark Chesnutt and many others. In 1997 he and longtime writing partner Matraca Berg won the CMA Award for song of the year for "Strawberry Wine"[Deana Carter] Andy Buckner Country Blending honkytonk bravado & gritty cowboy seclusion Andy’s music embodies a balance of party anthems & instantly relatable heartache healers. The 29 year old’s grainy soulful voice embraces his North Carolina roots & shares authentic songs inspired by his upbringing. As a songwriter Andy has been GRAMMY nominated & featured in “American Songwriter”, he has 3 songs on the latest Steep Canyon Rangers record “Arm in Arm”. Andy also has cuts by Tracy Lawrence, Montgomery Gentry, Colt Ford, Casey Kristofferson, Terry Lee Palmer & The Ransom Devils, Matt Daniels, & Sideline. Rick Huckaby Country Rick Huckaby or “Huck” as he is often referred to, is a Nashville singer, songwriter and guitar player. His sound is unlike anyone in country music,combining influences as rare as Daryl Hall, Bonnie Raitt, Merle Haggard, Ronnie Millsap and Keith Whitley. Huck moved to Nashville in 1996 and in 1998 landed a dream gig as the acoustic guitar player for country music superstar Tracy Lawrence. In 2007 Huck and his brother Andy formed the independent record and publishing company Head Coach Music in honor of their father who passed away in 2006. Huck was finally able to release his debut album “Call Me Huck” (2008) which received significant critical acclaim as well as “Hittin’ My Stride” (2009) and “Pistols & Diamonds” (2013) . While touring and promoting his music to radio, Huck wrote the Top 20 single “Muddy Water” for Trace Adkins and the Top 20 single for Thomas Rhett “Beer with Jesus”. Huck has penned over 30 songs for Tracy Lawrence as well as major album cuts for Craig Morgan, Frankie Ballard and many others. He also enjoys playing with is Nashville-based blues band, Big Shoes Michael White Country Michael White is originally from Hendersonville, TN and moved to Nashville with his family in 1964. Michael's father, L. E. White, a Grammy award winning singer, songwriter, and musician, created Twitty Bird Publishing with famed country legend Conway Twitty. Music ran in his blood and at an early age, Michael exhibited a talent for country music. While Michael was still in his teens, Twitty cut his song, "You Make It Hard To Take The Easy Way Out", which appeared on the B-side to the mega-hit, "You've Never Been This Far Before". Though Michael took a short break from the music world to pursue college, he returned to the country scene with vigor and his voice was highly sought after for demo recording. This recognition led Michael to a recording contract with Warner Brothers/Reprise and in 1992 he released his first album, Familiar Ground. Michael toured and charted several singles as a recording artist for Warner Reprise records from 1992 -1995. Songwriting always stuck with Michael and has brought him success over the years, having had songs cut by Shania Twain, Brooks and Dunn, Alan Jackson, George Strait, Billy Currington,Kenny Chesney, Mark Wills, Trace Adkins, Sammy Kershaw, Hank Williams Jr,, Craig Campbell, Tracy Byrd,Easton Corbin,Tracy Lawrence, Blake Shelton, John Anderson,Luke Bryan, Billy Ray Cyrus, Emerson Drive, Jeff Bates,Craig Morgan, Charlie Pride, Gene Watson, and Confederate Railroad. Michael has received three ASCAP/BMI Airplay Awards for the #1 song, "The Baby", by Blake Shelton, the #1 Michael Ray song, "Kiss You In the Morning", and the top 10, "Loving Every Minute", by Mark Wills.
