Spread the Love Jam and Jelly Canning Class

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service Office in Montgomery County will host a game and jelly canning class on June 30 in Conroe. The cost of the class is $45, which includes all supplied and lunch. So Easy to Preserve, a 380-plus page handbook is also available to preorder for $35. Online registration is available and the deadline to register is June 25. This class is for adults only. Participants will learn the basics of food preservation, canning safety, equipment and hands-on recipe making using the boiling/hot water bath canning method. The class is perfect for beginners, the canning curious or those wanting to brush up on their canning skills.
