Tahoe City 4th of July Celebrations

4th of July Fireworks fundraising launched for 2026 show
The 78th Tahoe City Fireworks Show will be at 9:30 p.m. from a barge off Commons Beach. The show is presented by the Tahoe City Downtown Association and completely funded by private donations from businesses and individuals. Donations are needed to continue this community tradition.
This year’s show commemorates the 250th anniversary of the United States and the 175th anniversary of the State of California. Celebrations will include a Family Fun Zone on July 3; fireworks on July 4; and live music, entertainment and activities throughout Tahoe City, West Shore and Alpine Meadows on July 4 & 5.
There will also be a free shuttle to Tahoe City from Olympic Valley and West Shore stops from July 3 to 5.
