​Join us at the UGA Extension Cobb County office for the official Grand Opening of our Living Classroom Garden! We’re throwing a giant Family Fun Day, and you’re invited to explore the new space, create, play, and even become a scientist for the day.

​Become a Citizen Scientist

Ever wanted to be a real field scientist? Kids and adults can participate in the Great Southeastern Pollinator Census. We’ll show you exactly how to and track our local pollinators. It’s like a real-life nature scavenger hunt!
​Free Hands-On Craft Stations
Keep little hands busy! We’ll have free, nature-inspired craft activities that kids can create on-site and take home.
​Interactive Partner Booths
Connect with awesome local organizations! Stop by and see our friends from the Cobb County Public Library and other community partners for fun games and resources.
​Support Cobb 4-H (and get a snow cone!)
Beat the heat with refreshing snow cones and delicious snacks sold by our fantastic Cobb County 4-H youth. Every purchase directly supports their local programs!
