A Colombian-born singer-songwriter, Angela Puerta blends her Latin American roots with global influences to create an eclectic music style she calls Latin Rock. Her live performances are known for their energy, emotion, and cultural pride.
4:00 to 5:00 PM: Children & Family Performance
Explore Latin beats, Colombian folkloric music and other familiar songs in both English and Spanish. Dance along with a wide variety of Afro-Latino songs!
6:30 to 7:30 PM: Older Teen & Adult Performance
4-piece Latin Rock group deeply rooted in Afro-Colombian rhythms such as Cumbia, Bambuco, Salsa, and Vallenato. Fusing tropical music with familiar American genres like rock and pop, Angela Puerta Band is a vibrant bridge between cultural worlds. Performance in both English and Spanish.
If there is inclement weather, the show will move into the Community Room.
