Volunteer with us to improve trails at this Story County Conservation park!
This Trails Enhancement And Maintenance (TEAM) work day will take place at Prairie Valley Preserve, our newest county park, near Gilbert. Join our staff in installing a culvert to assist with drainage around the trail, and maybe even work on fence removal, too, if time allows.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
-No experience necessary
-Bending, kneeling, and heavy lifting/carrying will be involved.
-Terrain can be uneven. Volunteers are encouraged to work at their own pace and comfort level.
-Please arrive a few minutes early to park and check-in.
-Instructions will be provided onsite. No prior skills needed
