Details:
Join us for the Woodshop Orientation at NESTL, where you'll learn essential safety protocols for our woodworking tools, a necessary step to utilize the Woodshop during Open Hours. This orientation includes training on using equipment such as the SawStop table saw, compound sliding miter saw, band saws, drill press, router table, jointer, planer, spindle sander, scroll saw, and various hand tools.
To participate, you must be a member of the Seattle REconomy tool library (including NE Seattle Tool Library and Shoreline Tool Library), with flexible pay-what-you-can membership options available. If you have questions about Woodshop usage or membership, please email info@seattlereconomy.org.
Accessibility features include wheelchair access to much of the NE Seattle Tool Library; however, the all-gender restroom is small and not ADA compliant. Attendees are welcome to bring their own interpreters as we do not provide non-English or ASL interpretation.
For transit, the library is accessible via King County Metro buses, and there are options for bicycle parking. There is limited car parking available, but no ADA accessible parking spaces. For any accessibility requests, please contact us in advance.
Sign up for the Woodshop Orientation today to safely explore your woodworking interests!
