Details:
Join us for the Woodshop Orientation at the NE Seattle Tool Library (NESTL), where you'll learn essential safety protocols for our woodworking tools. This orientation is a prerequisite for accessing our Woodshop during Open Hours. You will receive basic training on our equipment, which includes a SawStop table saw, compound sliding miter saw, band saws, drill press, router table, and various hand tools.
To participate, you must be a member of the Seattle REconomy tool library, with membership options available on a pay-what-you-can basis. If you have any questions regarding Woodshop usage, please contact us at info@seattlereconomy.org.
Accessibility information: The NE Seattle Tool Library is largely wheelchair accessible, with ramps at all entrances. The all-gender restroom is small and not ADA compliant. Attendees may bring their own non-English or ASL interpreters.
Getting to the library: It's accessible via King County Metro bus routes and bicycle routes, with limited parking available on-site.
Join us at the East entrance and head to the Woodshop to enhance your woodworking skills in a supportive environment!
