**Woodshop Open Hours @ NESTL**
Join us for Woodshop Open Hours at NESTL, where you can work on your personal woodworking projects in a fully equipped space after completing the mandatory Woodshop Orientation class. This program is designed to provide you with the tools and environment necessary to bring your projects to life, regardless of your skill level. A knowledgeable Woodshop Steward will be present to offer machine operation guidance and ensure safety during your session, as well as project assistance if needed.
**What to Expect:**
- Refreshers on tool operation to help you start your project safely and confidently.
**What to Bring:**
- Your project ideas, sketches, or plans (digital or paper).
- Any materials you have already sourced.
**Prerequisite:**
- Completion of the Woodshop Orientation class is required to use Woodshop Open Hours. Sign up for the Orientation class here.
**Additional Support:**
- If the available times do not suit your schedule or you require extra assistance, please fill out the Woodshop Open Hours Request Google Form. A Steward will respond with available options. To be notified of future Woodshop Open Hours, register for notifications and select "Woodshop Open Hours (Woodshop Orientation Required)."
**Cost & Donations:**
- An access fee of $15 is charged, along with a suggested donation of $15 per hour of usage to help support the Woodshop. Payment for additional time can be done via QR code after your session.
**Safety & Supervision:**
- All sessions are supervised to ensure safe tool use, with Woodshop Stewards available for assistance. For inquiries about Woodshop usage, email info@seattlereconomy.org.
**Accessibility:**
- The NE Seattle Tool Library is wheelchair accessible, though some areas and the restroom are not ADA compliant. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own interpreters, as non-English and ASL support is not provided. Please contact us with any specific accessibility requests.
