Details:
Join us for Community Threads @ NESTL, a monthly mending and sewing circle where you can chat and craft with your neighbors. Bring your textiles or craft supplies, or use our provided sewing materials including machines, fabric, and thread. This is a co-working space intended for anyone looking to work on their textile projects; while experienced menders will be on hand to offer advice, this is not a formal class. Enjoy hot tea and a supportive community atmosphere. We're hosting this event on the second Saturday at the Shoreline Tool Library and the second Sunday at the NE Seattle Tool Library each month.
Accessibility: Much of the NE Seattle Tool Library is wheelchair accessible, although the all-gender restroom is small and not ADA compliant. Non-English and ASL interpreters are not provided, but attendees may bring their own. For any accessibility requests, please contact us.
Getting There: The library is accessible by King County Metro bus routes, with bike storage available. Parking includes a gravel lot for 10 cars and an asphalt lot for 5, but no ADA accessible parking is available. Join us and connect with your community while working on your craft!
