For our next Rainbow Cinema Club pick, we’re bringing the laughs with the campy, music-filled comedy Connie and Carla! Join us for a night of show tunes, disguises, and fabulous found family fun.
As always, we’ll have a post-film discussion, trivia, gift bags, and a raffle for a special giveaway!
The goal of Rainbow Cinema Club is to help educate and uplift our community through the power of Queer storytelling — and this month, we’re celebrating drag culture, allyship, and the beauty of chosen family.

November’s Pick: Connie and Carla

Directed by Michael Lembeck and starring Nia Vardalos and Toni Collette, the film follows two lifelong friends and struggling performers who witness a crime and go into hiding — posing as drag queens in a Los Angeles nightclub. What starts as a disguise turns into an unexpected journey of friendship, self-discovery, and show-stopping performances.
Rated PG-13 for language and some sexual humor. Under 13: Must be accompanied by a parent or guardian 21 or older.
